KLS-IMER in Association with Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad, Gujarat offer one year Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Business Management (DEBM). The Course is offered through Open and Distance Learning and is recognized by the Distance Education Bureau & University Grant Commission (UGC). KLS-IMER has signed a MoU with EDII and is recognized as Project Guidance Centre by EDII to offer this programme. All the third semester students are enrolled for this programme and will be getting Diploma in entrepreneurship and Business Management by EDII along with their MBA degree.
The inauguration of the DEBM was held on 28th August 2015. Mr. Mahesh Bhirangi, Managing Director, Pragati Engineering Pvt., Ltd., inaugurated the programme. In his inaugural address Mr. Bhirangi said, “Entrepreneurship will bring the Socio-Economic transformation of the region by providing jobs and creating wealth”. Prof. Raman Gujral, Associate Senior Faculty and Incharge, Regional Office (EDI) congratulated the college for taking initiative to offer this programme and also said, IMER is the first MBA institute to offer this programme in Karnataka State.
