Shares, Put, call , Buy, Short – all these are very familiar terms to the share market trading world and normally we dont find the Doctors taking very keen interest in this field. But there is a exception to this, Dr.Nikhil Baljekar, a urologist who runs his clinic in Belgaum has now entered the finals of the Zee Business TV’s “HUNT FOR INDIANS SMART INVESTORS-2” competition.
Dr.Baljekar stood 4th in trading round First in Bangalore city round and First in second semifinals held at Noida and will represent Belgaum/Bangalore /Karnataka in the finals.
This reality show is live form the past 9 months on the Channel. Dr.Nikhil is very interested in share trading and he decided to try his luck. In the first round on on line quiz from the thousands 100 were shortlisted. Each of the 100 were asked to trade in the stock market for one month.
Then top 5 participants were shortlisted for the each city round so 50 from 10 cities.
During the city round financial planning case study given and one winner was selected. In the next two semi finals held there 5 candidates each.
The finals of the event would be held on 18th of May, 2012 in Mumbai and even you can help Dr. Nikhil Baljekar by voting for him as SMS voting will also be one of the criterion for the finals.
Voting for finals has begun from 30/04/2012 and one can vote till 18th may midnight.
