Ashwin Kumar Bhirappa Karabai, a student of the 4th sem BE (Electronics & Electrical) of the Angadi Institute of Technology allegdly attempted sucide as he was denied persmission to sit for the exams citing his lower attendance.
Ashiwin’s attendance was about 42% but as per the rules a student has to have a minimum of 85% attendance per semester to qulaify to apperar for the exams.
However his friends allege that the Principal had demanded money as his parents could not pay it he attempeted sucide. The Principal as how ever denied the fact of asking for money and said more than 90 students have shortage, but we have allowed all but 10 who had attendance of less than 50 per cent.
He should be allowed ……..
