Belagavi City Corporation Corporator of Ward No.50 Fayeem Ikbal Ahmed Naikwadi, who was absconding after a clash between two groups at Gandhi Nagar on July 12 was arrested. He was arrested from Alnavar. The police produced him before the 2nd Judicial Magistrate First Class Court, which remanded him to judicial custody.
The police had arrested 57 persons and registered 11 cases in connection with Gandhi Nagar clash.
