Sandbox Startups (a Deshpande Foundation program) is hosting the first Startups Meet to ignite and inspire entrepreneurs working on innovative ideas in Belagavi.
First time in Belagavi, an informal meeting for Startups is launched by Sandbox Startups. Sandbox Startups is an incubation program run by Deshpande Foundation, looks to support entrepreneurs with innovative ideas.
Sandbox Startups meet will bring together enthusiastic entrepreneurs and mentors. It is a great opportunity for Startups in Belagavi to network with like minded people, meet mentors and become part of the vibrant Sandbox Community.
The meet was drawn from prior experience of Sandbox Startups Bootcamp organized in Hubballi on 26th July. The Bootcamp brought together 36 Startups to work continuously for 36 hours. The event ended with startups pitching their ideas and 4 finalists won seed capital of 5 lakhs. All teams left with refined vision and a clear action plan for the next 6 months.
The Sandbox Startups is looking to map needs of local entrepreneurs from Belagavi startups meet and extend its incubation support in coming weeks. The meet will take place on August 22 in Belagavi.

Yes its completely fine for Idea Phase Entrepreneurs, I would say its for Idea stage Entrepreneurs, but if you have a product ready its an added advantage.
We from IdeaFlask had been to Hubballi on 26th July for this event and we won the 3rd prize.
Its an awesome experience.
You will get to learn a lot of things from scratch, and also you will make a lot of contacts, which are very helpful.
Also there will be people coming from industry, from which you can validate your Idea and come to know there itself whether your idea is worth your time.
