United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) in the union power ministry have sanctioned a project about promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy in energy intensive foundry units in Belagavi to the Belgaum Foundry cluster.
The primary objective is the implementation of energy efficiency practices and technologies, besides providing renewable energy options to help achieve higher energy performance to foundry industries.
