The police have arranged a green corridor from Dharwad SDM to Belagavi KLE Hospital to transport the living heart.
A 15-year-old girl, who was declared brain dead at SDM Hospital and Medical Research Center in Dharwad, donated her organs and saved the lives of 4 people, becoming a role model for society.
The heart was sent to KLES Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital where the same was transplanted into a boy.
A kidney was transplanted to a patient being treated at SADM Hospital and Tatvadarsha Hospital, Hubli, while the liver was sent by air to Apollo Hospital, Seshadripuram, Bengaluru.
Very heartening News !! All the persons involved in this humanitarian work deserve all the PRAISE in the world. Sets a good example for everybody!!!!!
