South Western Railway has decided to provide one minute stoppage at KHANAPUR Railway Station for Train Nos. 17415/17416 TIRUPATI-KOLHAPUR-TIRUPATI HARIPRIYA EXPRESS with effect from 15TH JANUARY, 2012, on experimental basis for a period of six months.
Accordingly, Train No. 17415 TIRUPATI-KOLHAPUR HARIPRIYA EXPRESS will arrive/depart at KHANAPUR station at 10-50/10-51 hrs., with effect from 15th January, 2012.
In the return direction, Train No.17416 KOLHAPUR-TIRUPATI HARIPRIYA EXPRESS will arrive/depart at KHANAPUR station at 16-19/16-20 hrs., with effect from 15th January, 2012.
Definitely a good news .The purpose and the aim of experimentation is not mentioned in the blog.

Good news of new year-2012….. Let the train stop continuously …………. at Khanapur. Because Khanapur is Big Taluka having round about 300 villages and 51 Taluka Panchayats and 6 ZP's.
