On Tuesday, Aug 9 2011, Belgaumnext in association with theJobCorp would like to hold a Job Ability Conclave where we would like to interact with Students, Principals, Placement Officers and faculties from Engineering, MBA, BBA, BCA/BCom/BA/B.Sc/Diploma colleges and students from IT education centres.

Belgaumnext said in a press release that the interactive discussions would help to understand the aspirations of students in Belgaum for jobs, the types of jobs available locally and to discuss current employability trends in India. Every young student needs to be empowered with skills that will help him or her get a job. There is a huge need for skilled manpower in Retail, Insurance, Education, Banking, Hospitality, Hospital Administration, Telecom and the Automotive Industry.

India faces a huge challenge where we have over a 100 million youth between the ages of 18 and 25. Many of these young graduates are unemployed – mainly because of the gap in our current education system that does not prepare them well enough to get a job in the real world. Having a degree or special diplomas is not always enough to get a good job.

theJobCorp is an employability solutions company that works with both colleges and corporates to help them bridge the gap and to make our graduates more employable.

theJobCorp has worked with 300 colleges and helped thousands of graduates find jobs in multi national companies across the country.

Recently, theJobCorp has partnered with the National Skills Development Corporation to train 20 lakh people in employability skills over the next 10 years through its subsidiary, Job Skills Solutions (Pvt) Ltd.

  1. No doubt this is a good initiative, but it is been observed that the payscale given here is very low… Hence ppl moving out of Bgm for work!!! There is a lot of scope for employment in Bgm…. and ppl like me are eager to return home…. There could be arguments here for the remuneration part here…. but again..

    Shri.
