The suspected killer of Kannada scholar MM Kalburgi might have been killed is what is come to forefront after a reporter of a daily found resemblence with the one killed near Manikwadi cross near Khanapur in the forest area to that of the Suspect image released by the police.
A local Marathi journalist had visited the spot on October 18 and had also taken photos and had told the police that the face of the killed person resembles to the image released by the police as the suspect in Kalburgi case.
But it seems the Police in Khanapur neglected this and even cremated the body after 9 days as no one came forward to claim it.
Today after the photos made waves on the social media SP Ravikanthe Gowda, rushed to Khanapur for further investigation. The police are now trying to investigate into the matter.
