Karnataka government has lockdown 9 districts in the state which includes the Belagavi district.
The other districts are Mysuru, Mangaluru, Kodagu, Chikkaballapur, Kalaburagi, Dharwad and Belagavi.
Only essential services till 31 March will be operational. No commercial activity would be allowed.
PUC 2 last exam would be held as per the schedule on Monday.
During this period, all schools, colleges, malls, gyms and cinema halls will remain closed while necessary services and utilities (supermarkets, hospitals, etc.) will be available.
The minister however clarified that grocery stores, milk vendors, vegetable shops as well as medical services can remain open. Agricultural activities will be allowed to continue while auto and taxis will function. Factories will be allowed to function on alternate days. All inter- district transport in the nine districts under lockdown will be stopped till March 31. No public transportation in Karnataka will be available on Monday while all AC buses won’t operate till March 31.
However private taxis, Autos will operate.
