A seminar has been organized by Ekta Parivar of Rahman foundation on 15th December 2013 at 6 pm AM Shaikh college campus. Shaikh Khalil-ur-Rahman Sajjad Nomani a prominent Indian Islamic scholar, spiritual leader, author, founder of many educational institutions, chief editor of Al-Furqan, will be the keynote speaker.
Peace & harmony exists in the community when the people have love & kindness towards each other & where there are greedy & destructive natured people, obviously there will be social violence, cruelty, corruption & terrorism in the community.
The need of this hour is that the educated & scholarly citizens should come together & develop a feeling of integrity among the people. For this reason since past 28 years Rahman Foundation is making efforts to curb the misunderstanding, differences & hatred developed in the community by developing a sense of integrity & brotherhood among the people.
In this regard, during the past one year several activities have been undertaken in Belgaum city too.
Let us enlighten the torch of love & good faith & destroy the destructive elements of hatred, selfishness & bitterness that create ignorance amongst people.
Remember even the smallest ray of light is capable of enlightening in darkness.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Shaikh Khalil-ur-Rahman Sajjad Nomani is a prominent Indian Islamic scholar, spiritual leader, author, founder of many educational institutions, chief editor of Al-Furqan, a leading Islamic magazine in Urdu, being published regularly since 1933. Shaikh Khalil-ur-Rahman is known for his interest in inter-faith dialogue and a special invitee to inter-religious conferences, within and outside the country. He is a visiting faculty of many local and foreign universities. He is actively associated with organizations working for social upliftment & peaceful co-existence.
Internationally, he has formally as well as informally interacted with many global leaders in various fields, all across the socio-politico-economic spectrum including former General Secretary of UNO as well. Moreover, he is a keen observer of local and international political developments. He has written extensively on crucial political and social issues.
