Minister Jain visits Belgaum

jainMinister for Youth Services and Sports Abhayachandra Jain said that an indoor stadium would be built at a cost Rs.6.25 crores in Belgaum. He also asked the district administration to speak with KLE society to get the lease of the District stadium extended beyond the current period of 2026 and Rs.6 lakhs are spent there for maintenance. The Minister said he would speak to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to reserve jobs for sportspersons in the State government departments, particularly the Police and Excise departments.

Minister for Youth Services and Sports Abhayachandra Jain  surprised Deputy Commissioner N. Jayaram on Tuesday morning by informing him that that he was arriving in Belgaum by a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation bus, travelling more than 500 km from Bangalore. While asking for a vehicle to pick him from the bus depot, he advised the Deputy Commissioner to not send an escort.

  1. I am surprised but happy Mr Jain endorse your smart values of being a public servant and taking Bus and no escorts to pick you from Bus station to Circuit house though its near by,
    You might have seen New Gandhinagar entrance welcomed you with full of water logged area, last time where Rajeev Toppanavar threatened to sow seeds of sugarcane if the the road is not built and then the govt took some action , Sir please inform Mr Lad your fellow colleague to do something for Belguam also especially low lying areas
