Photo of author

indian-railwayOn October 2, 2013 the new Hubli to LTT Kurla train was flagged off by Railway minister Kharage and the weekly train will commence its regular journey from October 7.

The timings of the train seem to be a major deterrent with such odd timings and also that this train reaches Kurla station and not CST or Kalyan.

Belgaum Arrival: 2140 Departure: 2145

LTT (Kurla-Mumbai) Arrival : 1105

LTT HUBLI Express – 17318

The train departs from Belgaum on every Monday at 9.45 PM and reaches LTT at 11 AM in the morning. On the return journey the timings are more hapless with departure from LTT at 12.25 PM in the afternoon and arrival in Belgaum at Midnight.
Many commuters say even with the introduction of this new train, it will be of no use to the citizens at large.

  2. One more thing I would like to know through ABB Channel, is about Dharawad to Satara via Belgaum direct railway line.In recent days we saw in all news channels, that both Central railway minister and State Govt belongs to same party and they are willing to pass and proces more railway projects to Karnataka. And next month there will be winter session scheduled in Belgaum.I request all our Belgaum ministers to work together and bring this project in reality as soon as possible. If nothing is happening on this project, I would request ABB to highlite and bring attention of our Belgaum’s representatives to considare on this.I hope all ABB readers like this development topic.

  3. Every day Goa express running heavy waiting list ( More than 300 passanges are on waiting list) , if Hubli LTT Express – 17317 runs daily then it is much comfortable to passangers and also profitable to Govt treasury. It will collect more revenue to IRCTC.
