Deputy Commissioner Dr.SB Bommanahalli warned that stern action would be taken against the Clinics and hospitals which will include the suspension of the license if medical services at the clinics and hospitals were not commenced with immediately.
He stated that in many cases the public needs medical assistance other than COVID Therefore, private doctors, nursing homes and clinics should be opened immediately and services should be provided to the people according to the guidelines.
According to the Karnataka Private Medical Establishment Act (KPMEA), doctors and all hospitals that are registered are required to serve the patients under the law.

Well, provided good quality PERSONAL PROTECTION KITS, N95 MASKS to all doctors (they are human too). They can’t just expect an unarmed soldier to go for war just because there is a war.
