Photography course in Belgaum by Belgaum Institute of Photography

belgaum_photographyschoolThe professional photographers in Belgaum have recently established the Belgaum Institute of Photography and announced on Saturday to launch a foundation course in photography. Trainer Ameet Pawar said the institute was the first of its kind in the city to have a digitally-equipped classroom, library that has books on photography, video photography, magazines, CDs, VCDs and accommodation for students from outside the city.

The 45-day course would be conducted by professional photographers and technicians. There was no fixed qualification or age limit. Anybody with a creative mind could take up the course to develop their creative instincts into a career in the field of photography. Cameras would be provided to students during the training period.

First batch would commence from August 19. Students would be trained in indoor and outdoor photography and videography.

The course is certified and accredited to the Sarvodaya Grameen Vikas Samsthe, an organisation registered with the government and engaged in various educational and training programmes. While the course fee is Rs. 10,000, the first batch will get a 20 per cent discount, Mr. Pawar said.
