At the age of 15 Suhas Jyotiba Bhandurge of Rajgoli village of Chandgad, took up agriculture by choice as he left school, which he says was not his interest at all has assembled a mini bike. His love for vehicles affected his studies and he did not clear the annual examination. He then joined hands with his parents to work in their farm.
The mini bike of just 2 feet height, which can operate more efficient than the other two-wheelers do, weighs just 43 kgs and has length of 3 feet. This 65 cc bike can carry two adults on it, without any stress. It has maximum speed of 40 km per hour.
An onlooker asked “Kitna dete hai?”, Suhas said 40.
His nephew wanted a mini motorbike and this ignited the spark of why shouldn’t I only try and make a mini bike and he decided to make one for his nephew.
Suhas dismantled his Bajaj Sunny motorcycle and started looking for spare parts to build a new one. He had the knowledge of the basics of bikes, the knowledge of which he utlisied to its fullest and it took nearly two years for him to get the required spare parts. He worked for 40 days before putting together a mini motorcycle. The entire exercise cost him Rs. 7,500.

The Bajaj Auto has stopped the production of M-80. Why don’t you make wonderful bike/Scooter
out of the discarded or old M-80’s. You know the M-80’s were used in villages as well as in cities
and you also must have seen in Chandgad as well as in Belgaum and surrounding villages a M-
80 carrying a load of even 120 t0 150 kgs of load along with 2 riders. Try tgis.
