Corporation commissioner G Prabhu and Executive Engineer R S Naik have left for Delhi where the Smart City plan prepared would be shown to a panel of experts of Urban planning and then both would go to Bengaluru to put forth the same infront of the High level committee formed for the Smart city.
The last date of Submission of the SCP is December 5 to the respective State high level committees.
Consulting firm Drawshaw has helped in making this SCP. The Commissioner hopes that Belagavi will make it to the first top 20 cities list to be selected this early next year.
