Kaktives, Khadak Galli, Chandu Galli and surrounding areas were tensed in the evening after the news of bull slaughter.
The police presence in the area has been reinforced and heavy police force including the reserve police has been deployed. The police had to do lathicharge to disperse the crowd gathered near Kaktives.
The situation is under control and also more force has been deployed in the entire city.
Shops were closed in Katives, part of Khade bazar and also Ganpat galli.

I heared DSP and some police were injured and innocent people were taken to a custody?
My uncle from Khanjar Galli who is neoro patinet was at home and his son also arrested.
This is what happen when some Samajsankat people do this kind of things and innocent has to pay for it.
I appeal to the Honerable SP not to harrash innocent people but not spare culprits as well.

BELGAUM people had lost their mind long time like others ,i never expected this would be beyond the limit,police plays and important role.for hindu brothers i would only say its the time for sacrifice as u do in dasharaha.if we say slaughter of sheep/goat is also non acceptable will u stop????…answer from ur side will be no!thats for sure.so y not we?
muslims have equal rights and hindu brothers should cooperate with this to keep peace in city.people perform bandh nd it cost people living beyond poverty line weder he is muslim/hindu or any.think of them too..
its shame for belgaumite for their behaviour,were belguam still known as friendly/educated/fashionable/green and decent city nd riots like this take place.
muslim brothers should also know this sacrifice not only means of slaughtering animals ,one can even sacrifice money(doing charity equal amount to the cattle) instead of slaughtering.its the matter of showing ALMIGHTY the love nd faithfulness towards him then why not go for charity?some time we should open up our brains and think not only listen to the priest and do what they ask for!

Appreciate you views on this ( you mentioned really good points) however for your point which is for (hindu brothers i would only say its the time for sacrifice as u do in dasharaha) will tell you, Hindus will not kill/slaughter Cows, which they worship, ofcourse Hindus also killing animals which doesnt make any sense. i am not against any religion, thing is Muslim borhters are killing cows, which Hindus worship, think problem started there. when Muslims are killing Goats think no one opposed .. Really Really good thinking about sacrificing money(doing charity equal amount to the cattle, hope both Hindus/Muslims should work together to plan like this. However i’m not a part of Bealgaum/karnatak, juss came to know about this incident thru one of my friend and gone thru thought of sharing this.

With the consensus from all the scholars — off-late fatwa was issued not to slaughter Cows as they are worshipped by Hindu brothers. It is understood that more than 75% have stopped slaughtering Cows….muslim are now slaughtering other animals i.e OX / Buffalo & goats. Once this 25% stops slaughtering cows, then this issue gets closed. Using this platform we muslim brother request the Hindu brothers to educate the Hindu brothers who owns the Cows not to sell the cows to muslim brothers especially at this time of Eid. Pls note more than 80% of the cows in India are owned by Hindu brothers.
Therefore, its team work….lets start from the basics……stop selling the cows to muslim brothers….we think more than 75% .problem is solved. On the other hand, we will again start the campaign.and try to edcuate the muslim brothers who are still slaughtering cows not to do the same and start slaughtering OX/Buffalo & goats.
Brother Sajid……though its good suggestion (giving charity instead of Slaughtering)….but we cannot apply the same for this festival.
