Range Forest Officer based at Saundatti in Belagavi district Sunita Nimbargi will become a maiden woman officer of the State forest department to receive the Chief Minister’s Medal for her meritorious service to the department which would be conferred on March 23.
Sunita Nimbargi is known for her resolute approach to her duty and especially in anti-encroachment drives.
She has shown keen interest in conducting awareness initiatives and organizing other activities for the causes of wildlife protection and forest conservation, including tree plantation programs.
