Today, 17.01.2020, M/s. Trujet started its first operation under UDAN-3 to Tirupati, Mysuru and Hyderabad sector from Belagavi Airport.
A small event was organized by M/s. Trujet in close coordination with Belagavi Airport, AAI to commemorate its commencement of operations from Belagavi Airport.
The water cannon salute has been given to the Aircraft of M/s. Trujet by Fire Department of Belagavi Airport.
The event started with the lighting of the sacred candle (Diya) by Hon’ble Dr. Prabhakar Kore, MP (Rajya Sabha), Sh. Rajesh Kumar Maurya, Airport Director: Belagavi Airport, Sh. Sudheer Raghavan, CCO: Trujet, Sh.Bharat Deshpande: Airport Advisory Committee Member, Sh. Vikram Suresh Killekar: Airport Advisory Committee Member and Dr. Netravati Sabnis: Member of Professional Forum. Sh. P.S. Desai, CNS Incharge: AAI and other HODs of AAI, Sh. Irappa Wali, APSU-KSISF and Sh. P.Hemanth Raj: Station Manager, Sh. Prasanna Kumar: APM, Sh. Venkat: IT Head, Mr. Sandeep: RD Security, Mr. Shome: GSD Head, Sh. Vijay: APM of Trujet, Sh. Nagesh Desai, Social worker: Sambra, Sh. Vinod Bamane & their students: Aptech Aviation and Hospitality Academy were also present on that occasion.
It was followed by cake cutting by Hon’ble Dr. Prabhakar Kore, MP (RS) and also expressed his thanks to M/s. Trujet Airline for the commencement of their operation from Belagavi Airport.
Further, requested to M/s. Trujet to add more sectors like Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Cudappa & Delhi etc. from Belagavi Airport and boarding pass handed over to the first two passengers.
Sh. Sudheer Raghavan, CCO: Trujet thanked Hon’ble Dr. Prabhakar Kore, MP (RS), Belagavi Airport: Airports Authority of India, Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) and UDAN-RCS Scheme which connected many small cities to Metro / Megacities. It is 23 rd station which started its operation.
He expressed that M/s. Trujet is not only connected with the Aviation Industry but doing a lot of CSR activities under social responsibility, M/s. Trujet gave the flying experience to old age home people, children of orphanage homes and many underprivileged children/groups of different cities and keen desire to do the same kind of activity in Belagavi city.
Sh. Rajesh Kumar Maurya, Airport Director, Belagavi Airport, offered his gratitude to all Hon’ble MPs, MLAs & MLCs, District Administration & Police Administration, all citizens, Chamber of Commerce, Professional forum, Universities/Technical Institutes,
Commercial/Business/Industrial Institutes of Belagavi city. He added that total of 24 operations (arrival & departure) per day from Belagavi Airport and connected with 8 different cities like Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Tirupati, Mysuru & Indore.
M/s. Ghodawat Group is going to start its operation to Indore from 20.01.2020. Further, he conveyed the good wishes of Smt. Usha Padhee, JS, MoCA, New Delhi, Sh. I. N. Murthy, Member (Ops), AAI, New Delhi and Sh. R. Madhavan, Regional Executive Director, Southern Region, Chennai: AAI to M/s. Trujet and other Stakeholders at Belagavi Airport.
The Trujet flight (T2 548/543) will operate on a daily basis from Tirupati to Belagavi – arrival at 0920 IST and departure to Mysuru at 0940 IST, Mysuru to Belagavi- arrival at 1240 IST and departure to Hyderabad at 1300 IST, Hyderabad to Belagavi – arrival at 1720 IST and departure to 1800 IST.
A total incoming passenger from Tirupati was 40 and the outgoing passenger to Mysuru was 34 out of 72 seater ATR Aircraft.
