Yallur Gram Panchayat has been making continuous efforts to implement all the schemes of the government till now. With this in view, the work of the waste disposal center has been started and Yallur Gram Panchayat is working to provide maximum employment to the people.
The work of 24 × 7 hours water supply under Jaljivan Mission has now reached its final stage, besides renovating Yallur Gram Panchayat, a digital library, conference hall and many other facilities have been provided there.
Also giving priority to social development, Anganwadi as well as in schools and primary health centers, water supply, installation of tiles, construction of compounds, installation of pavers, etc. have been completed in the above.
Tax collection is also on the higher side than others. After reviewing all these works and developments, Yallur Gram Panchayat has been selected from the Belagavi district, said President Satish Patil of Yallur Gram Panchayat.
Recently at Vikas Soudha in Bengaluru, 30 Gram Panchayat Presidents and PDOs from 30 districts in Karnataka were called and training was given on the Gram Panchayat Vision Action Plan for the next five years.
This includes the only Yallur Gram Panchayat from the Belagavi district. LK Atheeq Additional Chief Secretary Rural Development & Panchayat Raj and Shilpa Verma IAS. Panchayat Raj Commissioner gave guidance regarding this scheme.
