Abhinandan Sadalge sets world record for Most Cartwheels in a Row


Abhinandan Sadalge, a nine-year old boy from Belgaum performed 1,321 cartwheels in a row (in 37 minutes and 53 seconds) at Basaveshwar Circle – setting the world record for the Most Cartwheels in a Row. Shabaash India television had recorded the event.

Sonal Kakatikar and Gajendra Kakatikar, Karate masters of Belgaum, discovered the hidden talent of Abhinandan and trained him to achieve the target.


In gymnastics, a cartwheel is the movement where one moves sideways (in the motion the wheel of a cart would follow) in a straight line keeping the back straight placing the hand of the same side on the ground followed by the other hand as the legs are passed over the body and then come down as the hands and body come up to a standing up position.

The Guinness World record for the Most Cartwheels in One Hour was set by Don Claps, 41, from Broomfield, Colorado, who performed 1,293 cartwheels. Before that, Don has tried to get recognized by the Guinness World Records with 1,076 cart wheels.
