Sambra Airport in Belagavi Gets Bomb Threat, Search Underway; Case Registered
A bomb threat was received via an email by the Airport director Belagavi.
The Ip address has been traced to Chennai.
As per the police
A hoax mail was received regarding a threat to Belagavi airport. A case has been registered in this regard in Marial Police Station.
The whole airport both inside and out has been checked. Nothing has been found. The email is a hoax. Investigation to ascertain the sender is underway.
A case has been registered and security has been beefed up at the airport than normal.
