From January 1, 2026, several long-distance and intercity trains touching Belagavi (BGM) on South Western Railway will run with revised timings and higher speeds, while the Belagavi–Mysuru Vishwamanava and KSR Bengaluru–Belagavi Express get notable time gains. These changes are part of the All India Working Time Table revision and aim to reduce journey time and streamline arrivals and departures through Hubballi and Dharwad.

  • The existing Belagavi–Mysuru Express (now Superfast) is renumbered as 20675, with its return as 20676 Mysuru–Belagavi SF, effective February 2026, and both get overall speeding up in run time from January 1, 2026.
  • Train 20654 Belagavi–KSR Bengaluru Super fast Express will run faster, with a reduction of about 40 minutes in overall sectional running time from January 1, 2026.
  • Train 26751/26752 Belagavi–KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat (Except Wednesday) also sees a further marginal speeding up of about 15 minutes from January 1, 2026, tightening its schedule towards the state capital.

  • The Mysuru–Belagavi–Mysuru Vishwamanava Express is renumbered as 20676 (MYS–BGM) and 20675 (BGM–MYS) in the Superfast category, with new, earlier departures from both ends and shorter overall journey time from January 1, 2026.
  • 20676 Mysuru–Belagavi now leaves Mysuru later in the morning but reaches Belagavi significantly earlier in the night, saving about 125 minutes of run time over the previous timetable.
  • 20675 Belagavi–Mysuru leaves Belagavi earlier in the morning, with revised timings at Khanapur, Londa, Dharwad, Hubballi, Davangere and Mandya, trimming about 30 minutes in total journey time and improving punctual arrivals into Mysuru late night.

  • Mumbai (CSMT/LTT)–Bengaluru Udyan services 11301/11302 and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Coimbatore 11013/11014 get overall speeding up; though they do not originate or terminate at Belagavi, the faster Hubballi–Bengaluru legs improve connectivity for Belagavi passengers via overnight links through Hubballi.
  • Karnataka Sampark Kranti Express 12629/12649 and its pairing trains towards Hazrat Nizamuddin continue to use the Belagavi–Hubballi–Bengaluru corridor, with revised timings that advance Belagavi arrival by about 10 minutes and compress the Hubballi–Bengaluru section by up to 30 minutes from January 1, 2026.
