In celebration of the “Gandhi Bharat” program marking the centenary of the historic Congress session, DC Mohammad Roshan has declared holidays for schools and Anganwadi centers in Belagavi city and rural areas on December 26 and 27.
The two-day “Gandhi Bharat” program, commencing tomorrow, includes a series of events and activities to honor the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi and the Congress session held a century ago. Because of the preparations and large-scale participation expected, the holidays will apply to government, aided, and unaided primary and higher secondary schools, as well as Anganwadi centers across the region.
This initiative aims to ensure smooth conduct of the program and facilitate engagement from various sections of the community.
