Kumbh Mela Stampede Claims Fourth Victim from Belagavi: Mahadevi Passes Away

The death toll of Belagavi residents in the tragic Kumbh Mela stampede at Prayagraj has risen to four, with the confirmation of Mahadevi Bhavnoor’s passing. A resident of Shivaji Nagar, Mahadevi was among the devotees caught in the chaos.

Earlier, reports confirmed the deaths of Jyoti Hattarapath (50) and her daughter Megha Hattarapath from Vadgaon, as well as Arun Khorpade, husband of Kanchan Khorpade. All were part of a group that had traveled to Prayagraj three days ago via Sairath Travel Agency.

While Kanchan Khorpade survived with injuries and managed to contact her family in Belagavi, her husband Arun succumbed to his wounds. Now, the news of Mahadevi Hanumant’s passing has deepened the grief among their loved ones.
