The Karnataka government has settled the accommodation bill amounting to ₹6.82 crore for hotel services provided during the recent winter legislative session in Belagavi. Local hotel owners received the payments promptly.
In anticipation of the winter session, set to be held in Belagavi in December, hoteliers were reassured with partial advance payments. This proactive approach ensured that there were no hesitations or complaints regarding the availability of rooms and facilities for the legislators and their staff.
DC Nitesh Patil, ensuring smooth logistics and coordination, closely monitored the accommodation arrangements. He worked diligently with the city Corporation to facilitate the timely preparation and submission of the bills. Immediately following the conclusion of the legislative session, instructions were issued to expedite the billing process.

The Municipal Corporation promptly prepared and forwarded the accommodation bills to the government for final approval. Thanks to this efficient process, the payments were approved without any undue delay, much to the satisfaction of the hotel owners in Belagavi.
