He studied in Kannada medium and then enrolled for BBA at Indi. He then moved to Belagavi to pursue his MBA in Marketing Management from Bharatesh Global Business School. He began his career with one of India’s top plastic furniture companies, quickly climbing the ranks from Marketing Executive to Area Head, and eventually becoming a distributor of multiple brands and products. 5 years of his corporate job gave him hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the industry, from manufacturing to marketing. He also developed his network across North Karnataka, Goa and Western Maharashtra. It sparked a vision: why not build a mattress brand of his own? Thus began the journey of Melody Mattresses.
Starting Melody Mattresses
Starting from a small rented unit in Autonagar, Vinod soon shifted to what is today a full-fledged manufacturing facility under Shri Shantesha Enterprises, located opposite the NWKSRTC 4th Bus Depot, Autonagar. The factory, equipped with advanced machinery and staffed by a team of 15 skilled workers, produces a wide range of mattresses using premium raw materials sourced from across India. They are also into cushioning, packaging and flooring solutions.
