According to the information provided by the police (TN 75 Z 1686) at midnight on Friday, the car was traveling at a high rate of speed from Belagavi to Sambra. The driver lost control at a bend near Sambra village, resulting in the car flipping over and landing in a nearby field, a considerable distance from the road.
As a consequence, a female passenger in the vehicle tragically lost her life, while another person suffered injuries. The car itself sustained significant damage due to the high-speed rollover. The accident has been officially registered at the Marihal police station, and a thorough investigation is currently underway.
