  1. Good to know that some pratical measures are being sought to be taken instead of simply prohibiting parking wholesale without providing free parking spaces to citizens. Wish traffic police were a little more active in traffic & road management too instead of relying only on barriers and selectively targetting helmetless driving, random checking of 4 wheelers at junctions particularly if they are being driven by Senior Citizens as they are easier to stop because they drive slowly & carefully!

  2. While such traffic restrictions on heavy vehicles and buses are most welcome, the Traffic Police need to assert and enforce regulations regarding haphazard parking, driving on wrong side of the road, tripple riding on two wheelers, excessive loading of school children in three wheelers etc. Secondly, the chaos at the railway station created by auto rickshaws needs to be looked into by the traffic police. Everywhere in the city, autorickshaws seem to have their own way instead of following the rules.
