The Belagavi edition of the SIDBI MSME Conclave aims to facilitate discussions on cultivating financially resilient and competitive MSMEs, in line with the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision, which is driving India towards its centennial aspirations.
The SIDBI MSME Conclave, presented in collaboration with the Economic Times, is a nationwide series of immersive on-ground gatherings that bring together Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), policymakers, and ecosystem enablers. Its objective is to catalyze the next wave of growth opportunities, address challenges, and promote knowledge exchange and networking to establish a foundation for sustainable growth in Indian MSMEs.
According to the Karnataka Economic Survey 2023, the Belagavi district has the second-highest number of establishment units in the state, with 299,997 units, following Bengaluru Urban with 7,824,646 units. Additionally, Belagavi is one of the six districts with a GDP higher than the state average, alongside Bengaluru Urban, Dakshina Kannada, Ballari, Tumakuru, and Udupi.
