There is a partial relief for Belagavi flyers. Star Air has resumed bookings on the Belagavi–Ahmedabad (AMD) route from January 15, 2026, after a brief period when flights were not visible on the booking portal.

However, the Belagavi–Jaipur route continues to show no bookings beyond January 15 upto January 31, but February 1 onwards bookings are visible. As of now, there has been no official statement from the airline clarifying whether the Jaipur service is temporarily suspended or facing a longer-term discontinuation.

While the restoration of the Ahmedabad sector offers some reassurance, the continued absence of Jaipur bookings highlights the ongoing uncertainty around Belagavi’s air connectivity, which has already taken a hit with the earlier closure of the Mumbai route.

With the Mumbai route already discontinued earlier, Belagavi’s air connectivity remains under stress. The developments reinforce why initiatives like SAVE IXG are gaining momentum, as citizens and stakeholders push for consistent, transparent, and long-term air connectivity for the city.

Passengers and stakeholders are now hoping for clarity—and continuity—rather than last-minute surprises.
