The construction of the 4th Railway Underbridge at Angol in Belagavi city is scheduled to take place from June 20, 2025, to June 19, 2026. As the project will span a year, traffic diversions have been put in place to facilitate the smooth execution of work and ensure public safety.
During this period, all types of vehicles are advised to follow the alternative routes listed below:
1. Vehicles from Angol to BEMCO:
Motorists should travel via D.V.S. Chowk → Harimandir Road → Anagol Naka → 3rd Railway Gate Overbridge, and then proceed to Khanapur Road.
2. Vehicles from Khanapur to Anagol via BEMCO Circle and 4th Railway Gate:
Vehicles will be diverted from BEMCO Circle via 3rd Railway Gate Overbridge → Anagol Naka → Harimandir Road.
The Belagavi City Police have urged the public to cooperate and use the designated routes during the construction period.
