Union Minister Pralhad Joshi confirmed that the Vande Bharat Belagavi Bengaluru was sanctioned as per his earlier request to the Ministry of Railways. Expressing gratitude to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and State Minister V. Somanna, Joshi said the new train service will significantly enhance connectivity between North Karnataka and Bengaluru.
Vande Bharat Train Timings from August 10:
6- DAYS A WEEK (EXCEPT – WEDNESDAY)
Departure from Belagavi: 5:20 AM
Arrival at Bengaluru: 1:50 PM
Return from Bengaluru: 2:20 PM
Arrival at Belagavi: 10:40 PM
Let it not be an extension. Please provide separate train between belgaum to bangalore. If it’s extension, then what’s the use to be called new service. It’s just a mockery
It’s not an extension. It runs in opposite direction to current Bangalore Hubli Vande Bharat
Even then it is second train for Hubballi Dharwad. If train gets full at Belagavi then why stop at Hubballi and Dharwad.
This train is a time waster takes a whole day of travel (both to and fro), costs more and have to do overnight stay at Bengaluru for work.
Hubballi and Dharwad residents can leave in the morning and get back in the evening.
We want another train to Bengaluru at night in addition to 21:00 Express. Let it be Vande Bharat Sleeper at 22:30.
On paper the train is for Belagavi. But it is another vande bharat for Hubli and Dharwad. Look closely at the timings.
For 5:20am train I need to leave my home at 4:30am at the latest. How will I reach if I don’t have any one to drop me? Autos? They’ll charge 500 to drop only. Same is the case for return train. 11pm they’ll probably ask 600 from station…
Even if you have your own two and four wheeler parking charges add up.
The excitement of Vande Bharat to Bengaluru from Belagavi has diminished for me atleast.
If Indian Railways really cares about Belagavi, let us have following Vande Bharat routes.
Belagavi – Pune
Pune – Belagavi – Vasco
Belagavi – Kalyan (because Thane, Dadar and Mumbai Central are already crowded)
Amrit Bharat Routes to Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Jodhpur, Hyderabad.
Namo Bharat Rapid Rail from Miraj to Vasco atleast two services from both sides (Morning and Evening)
