Air connectivity from Belagavi Airport is set to improve significantly from October, with IndiGo expanding services to Bengaluru and New Delhi, while Star Air will relaunch its direct Ahmedabad service.
The expanded schedules are expected to benefit business travellers, IT professionals, students and leisure passengers by offering better connectivity and more travel options.
IndiGo Restores Additional Bengaluru Flights
Starting October 2, IndiGo will introduce an additional nonstop BelagaviโBengaluru service operating four days a week โ Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
The airline had earlier reduced some services due to higher aviation turbine fuel (ATF) costs. The restored flights will once again provide passengers with convenient same-day return options between the two cities.

Morning
- Bengaluru: 6:50 AM โ Belagavi: 8:20 AM
- Belagavi: 8:50 AM โ Bengaluru: 10:25 AM
Evening
- Bengaluru: 5:55 PM โ Belagavi: 7:25 PM
- Belagavi: 7:45 PM โ Bengaluru: 9:20 PM
BelagaviโDelhi Flight to Become Daily
In another major development, IndiGo will operate its direct BelagaviโNew Delhi service daily from October 1, replacing the current three-days-a-week schedule.
The increase comes in response to growing passenger demand on the capital route and will provide daily direct connectivity between Belagavi and New Delhi.

- Delhi โ Belagavi: 6:15 AM departure | 8:40 AM arrival
- Belagavi โ Delhi: 9:10 AM departure | 11:40 AM arrival
Star Air Revives Ahmedabad Route
Regional carrier Star Air will also strengthen Belagavi’s air network by resuming its nonstop Ahmedabad service from October 25.
The route will operate five days a week โ Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday โ offering improved connectivity for business, trade and tourism between North Gujarat and North Karnataka.

- Belagavi โ Ahmedabad: 7:45 AM departure | 9:25 AM arrival
- Ahmedabad โ Belagavi: 7:15 PM departure | 8:55 PM arrival
With these additions, passengers travelling from Belagavi will have more frequent connections to three key destinationsโBengaluru, New Delhi and Ahmedabadโmarking a significant improvement in the city’s domestic air connectivity ahead of the festive season.
