BUDA Chairman and Belagavi North MLA Asif (Raju) Sait, accompanied by Amaan Sait and officials of the Belagavi Urban Development Authority (BUDA), inspected the proposed site for the IT Park in Kanbargi, Belagavi.
During the visit, Sait surveyed the proposed land and held discussions with officials, sharing his inputs on the project. He directed officials to complete the necessary procedures, identify and address potential issues in advance, and ensure that the process is carried out systematically and transparently.
Sait highlighted the IT Park’s importance to Belagavi’s future development, noting that the project could create employment opportunities for local youth and contribute to the city’s economic growth.
Emphasising his dual responsibility as BUDA Chairman and MLA, Sait said the project must be handled with accountability and due diligence. He also warned that irregularities or lapses in its implementation would not be tolerated.
He instructed officials to ensure that all aspects of the project are carefully examined and that the process moves forward in an orderly manner, keeping the larger interests of Belagavi and its residents in mind.
The proposed IT Park is expected to be an important step towards strengthening Belagavi’s potential as an emerging IT and employment hub.
