MLAs Basanagouda Patil Yatnal and Anil Benake told presspersons here on Friday that the party cadre will protest if a high-level inquiry is not ordered into the death of Shivakumar Balaramappa Uppar, as they are unhappy with the investigation.
The police had declared that the death of Gau rakhashak Uppar wasn’t a murder but a suicide.
Many BJP leaders and others have given financial assistance to the family of Uppar. Belagavi MLAs Abhay Patil and Anil Benake promised they would build a new house for the family.
