Asif (Raju) Sait, Congress MLA Candidate for Belagavi North has announced a 10-point program to transform the lives of the people in his constituency. The program includes a wide range of initiatives, from improving basic infrastructure to providing free medical camps and assistance to the needy. Let’s take a closer look at each of these initiatives:

24X7 Helpline for each ward to share their local issues: Asif (Raju) Sait has proposed the establishment of a 24×7 helpline for each ward in Belagavi North. This will enable residents to share their local issues and concerns and ensure that they are addressed promptly.

Affordable Housing and Education for Every Child: Housing and education are two fundamental needs of every individual. Asif (Raju) Sait has promised to provide affordable housing and education for every child in Belagavi North.

World-Class Health & Monthly Free Medical Camps in every ward: As part of his commitment to improving healthcare in Belagavi North, Asif (Raju) Sait has promised to set up world-class health facilities and conduct monthly free medical camps in every ward.

Feed the Needy Kiosks will be installed in each ward to eradicate hunger: Hunger and malnutrition are major problems in many parts of the country, including Belagavi North. To address this issue, Asif (Raju) Sait has proposed the installation of “Feed the Needy” kiosks in each ward, where residents can access nutritious food free of charge.

24X7 Clean water: Access to clean and safe drinking water is a basic human right. Asif (Raju) Sait will do everything in his power to ensure that every household in Belagavi North has access to 24×7 clean water.

Janta Darbar every day: To strengthen democracy at the grassroots level, Asif (Raju) Sait has proposed the establishment of a “Janta Darbar” or public hearing in every ward, where residents can voice their concerns and grievances.

Separate spaces for street vendors: Street vendors are an integral part of the local economy, but often face harassment and eviction. Asif (Raju) Sait has promised to create separate spaces for street vendors, where they can carry out their business without any obstruction.

Better Roads & Infrastructure: Infrastructure development is crucial for the growth and development of any region. Asif (Raju) Sait has pledged to improve the roads and other basic infrastructure in Belagavi North, to ensure that the residents have access to the basic amenities.

“Save our City” campaign to get back the greenery of our city: Environmental degradation is a major problem facing many cities today. Asif (Raju) Sait has launched a “Save Our City” campaign, to promote environmental conservation and get back the greenery of the city.

Let’s make Belagavi an Industrial hub: Asif (Raju) Sait aims to promote industrial development in Belagavi North, create more job opportunities, and boost the local economy.

In addition to these initiatives, Congress has also proposed several welfare measures to benefit the people. These include 200 units of free power to all households(Gruha Jyoti), 10 kg of rice free to every member of a BPL household (Anna Bhagya), ₹2,000 monthly assistance to the woman head of every family (Gruha Lakshmi), ₹3,000 every month for graduate youth and ₹1,500 for diploma holders for two years, and free travel for women in public transport buses in Karnataka.

  1. Sir, think of good bus services also. The Govt. buses are not senior-citizen friendly: difficult to climb in & get down from; Private buses are small & overcrowded: difficult for sick & old. Auto-rickshaws prefer to stick to routes within the city area and besides being unaffordable at times, leave the sick & old in remote areas (BUT WITHIN CITY CORPORATION) as hapless casualties. A fleet of low-floored sleek buses will not only help the citizens but give the city a smart look… Not all can afford 2 or 4 wheelers & even if some can, they are unable to use them because of the traffic in which young people are honking & zooming with little regard to the careful & “defensive” older riders/drivers…Sir, please help…
