COVISHIELD second dose walk in – First dose Online registration required

It is seen that there is some confusion among the general public regarding COVID Vaccination.

Mission Director National Health Mission has issued this press note –

Following note is issued on current vaccination plan in the state to provide clarity on the issue.

1. Vaccination for above 45years

a. COVISHIELD 1st dose:

• Online in urban areas and onsite in rural areas.

b. COVISHIELD 2^nd dose:

• Walk-in to nearest COVID vaccination centre.

Also remember as per the centre’s guidelines the 2nd dose has to be administrated after 84 days

c. COVAXIN 1^st dose:

• Currently not available.

d. COVAXIN 2^nd dose:

• SMS will be sent to beneficiaries due for 2nd dose

• Beneficiaries should visit the designated COVID vaccination centre mentioned in the SMS.

2. Vaccination for 18-44years age group:

• Currently not available.

• However, for identified state COVID front line workers/vulnerable group and priority groups, the concerned will be informed of date and time of vaccination by the designated nodal officers.
