A pre poll survey was conducted by C Fore and Suvarna News which says if there was polling done now in Belgaum loksabha constituency the following would be the vote share –

Belgaum –
38% – Congress 
46% – BJP
2% – AAP
6 % – others 
8 % – JDS

For Chikkodi – 

46% – Congress
49% – BJP
02% – JDS
01% – AAP
02% – Others
