On 02-11-2022, Belagavi Rural Police Station registered a case of house and car theft at Lakshmi Nagar, Macche village and launched an investigation.
After a thorough interrogation, two suspects were arrested:
Krishna Ashoka Ramannavar (23) and Nagaraj Sangappa Buddhi (30).
Upon questioning, they confessed to their involvement in three house theft cases from Belagavi Rural Police Station, as well as one extortion case each from APMC Police Station and Udyambag Police Station.
The police seized a car, two motorcycles, gold and silver ornaments, a laptop, and a television, all worth a total of Rs. 8,50,000/- from the accused.
