On the threshold of India’s golden jubilee of its independence, Aavishkar an association of women was established on 26th January 1998 to promote entrepreneurship & personality development for women from urban & rural areas, enabling & enhancing their social & economic self-reliance.

Aavishkar is not just an organization, it is a movement. A movement that heralded the coming of the woman entrepreneur in our city of Belagavi. Empowerment of women by other women.
