Aavishkar Utsav 2018 Oct 26 – Oct 28 at Maratha Mandir 

On the threshold of India’s golden jubilee of its independence, Aavishkar an association of women was established on 26th January 1998 to promote entrepreneurship & personality development for women from urban & rural areas, enabling & enhancing their social & economic self-reliance.

Aavishkar is not just an organization, it is a movement. A movement that heralded the coming of the woman entrepreneur in our city of Belagavi. Empowerment of women by other women.

Aavishkar has been instrumental in helping women realize their inner potential & provide opportunities to women for turning hobbies into skills & skills into a business. This has been in the form of training, encompassing several facets of a business that has included marketing, time-management, personality development, skill development, quality control, resource gathering, mental & physical fitness, computer knowledge, networking, legal issues & much more. These efforts have led to the rise of over 2000 successful women entrepreneurs.

In order to further have a steady resource setting for our aspiring entrepreneurs, Aavishkar has signed an MOU with Karnataka Law Society’s IMER, a premier management institute in North Karnataka. This is a unique opportunity for Aavishkar members to have regular interaction with management professionals giving an edge to their business ventures.

Aavishkar empowering women

Aavishkar Utsav is an annual exhibition, to give a platform for these women entrepreneurs to exhibit & market their products. For the past 20 years, Aavishkar has been successfully welcoming a footfall of over 10,000 visitors every Utsav. This exhibition enables the women to continue to get business year-round.

The members of Aavishkar welcome citizens of Belagavi, with their friends & family to visit Aavsihkar Utsav being held on 26th, 27th & 28th October 2018 for a shopping extravaganza & a mini food fest at Maratha Mandir, Belgaum.
