Autorickshaws stayed off the road in Belgaum on Wednesday, causing inconvenience to a large number of commuters in the city especially the ones who traveled into the city.

The 24-hour strike, had been called in the wake of the recent hike in price of auto LPG and also petrol.
The auto strike was a success and sparingly an auto was seen on the roads.

Many parents had a tough time dropping off their children to school and picking them up.
On the other side the city also seemed to have scored on the pollution front and also with less traffic chaos of the Autos on the roads.
