This inaugural flight, operated by Indigo Airlines, was eagerly anticipated by the Belagavi Airport and marked a momentous occasion. Adding to the excitement, the airport also unveiled its new Instrument Landing System (ILS).
Currently, Belagavi Airport is served by two airlines: Indigo and Star Air.
Star Air offers direct flights from Belagavi to eight major Indian cities, including Ahmadabad, Indore, Jodhpur, Mumbai, Surat, Tirupati, Nagpur, Jaipur, and Bhuj via Ahmadabad.
