Belagavi has recently achieved a significant milestone in its aviation history. On October 5th, 2023, the city celebrated the commencement of flights to its 12th destination, New Delhi. This inaugural flight, operated by Indigo Airlines, was eagerly anticipated by the Belagavi Airport and marked a momentous occasion. Adding to the excitement, the airport also unveiled its new Instrument Landing System (ILS).

Currently, Belagavi Airport is served by two airlines: Indigo and Star Air.

Star Air offers direct flights from Belagavi to eight major Indian cities, including Ahmadabad, Indore, Jodhpur, Mumbai, Surat, Tirupati, Nagpur, Jaipur, and Bhuj via Ahmadabad.

Indigo, on the other hand, operates daily flights from Belagavi to New Delhi, Bengaluru (two flights), and Hyderabad.
