There has been a shortage of COVID Vaccine in Belagavi district since Friday and many of the PHC’s and private hospitals have run out of the vaccine and hence have stopped the Vaccination drive.
Dr Sudhakar K said that Karnataka will receive 15,25,500 doses of Covid-19 vaccine tomorrow in two consignments. One consignment of 5,25,500 doses will arrive at Belagavi by road and another consignment of 10,00,000 doses will arrive at Bengaluru by air through a late evening flight.
So by Monday evening 5,25,500 doses are supposed to arrive in Belagavi after which they would be supplied to all the vaccination centres across the district.
With rising COVID cases vaccination drive will have to expedited.
But we’re still giving them for free to other more deserving countries right?
