Complaints against Autos – Dial 100 or Whatsapp or approach nearest police station

For any complaints regarding Auto Rikshaws, please contact Commissioner of Police, Belagavi, office Whatsapp Number : 9483931100, or Please Dial 100 or nearest police station. 

In a surprising move the Facebook page of the Commissioner of police Belagavi city to a comment posted by Sudheer Kulkarni about Autos, replied that

Thank u for your valuable suggestion, we will definitely try this. If you have any complaint against any Auto kindly note down the auto number and contact nearest Police Station. Every Police Station is instructed to Act upon such complaints.

Now as per the above comment the Commissioner wants the citizens to complain at the nearest police station and has also mentioned that, each police station has been instructed to act upon such complaints.

Now this is a very encouraging after ages, however how many would manage to go to a police station and in actual raise a complaint is very hypothetical.

To our mention to make it easier they have now even issued the following numbers for complaints –

The response from the Facebook page has been very encouraging and looks like the citizen friendly approach is coming.

So each one is requested to save the above number and complain if the Auto driver does not charge according to meter or acts rudely.
