A couple from Belagavi, recently faced a harrowing experience in Doddanekundi, Bengaluru when they were subjected to verbal abuse, physical assault, and threats for parking their car in front of their residence, which was on a piece of land designated for parking. The couple had recently relocated to the city.
The incident came to light through a post shared by a user on a microblogging platform, X by Anagha Deshpande. According to the post, another woman from the same house attempted to forcibly strip off the girl’s top. The situation escalated quickly, causing distress to the couple.

Upon noticing the post, Bengaluru City Police responded promptly, assuring action. They stated, “Your complaint has been forwarded to @halairportps for necessary action in this regard. @dcpwhitefield. In case of distress/emergency situation, dial #Namma 112.”
This incident highlights the importance of addressing such acts of violence and ensuring the safety and security of all residents, especially those who are new to the city.
This type incident happened in Bangalore. Shouldn’t be like this if parking lot is open then why local people harassment with the couples . Now police department should take strongly action for this matter.
