Smt. Seema Latkar IPS, DCP (Law and Order) Belagavi made her Twitter debut and posted here first tweet on Nov 6.

The twitter handle – @DCP_LO_Belagavi has 67 followers and she is following 79 others which includes @allaboutbelgaum as well.

The micro blogging site has been a favorite in Bengaluru and other metros where people have raised issues and they have been responded immediately and the twitter handles also have shared information which in turn has helped the citizens.

So this is definitely a welcome sign and welcome to new E-policing.

    Nice initiative DCP. Way to go for the future. Belgaumites the Police want to have better Police-Community relationship and participation is key! So Go and be part of the change to make Belgaum a safe place sans the anti-social elements.
