The family of the 57-year-old lady who had expired due to COVID-19 on Saturday was in for a shock when they got a call from the Civil hospital to collect the dead body and complete the last rites.
The 57-year-old woman from Camp who had expired on Saturday was buried on then only and the family members who were mourning her passing away were shocked when the civil hospital staff called them to collect the body immediately.
The family members were worried as to on whom did they conduct the last rites.
The family members approached the APMC police station in this matter now. Earlier as well there were similar mix-ups that had occurred in handling the corpse.
